About Eddie
Online Personal Trainer & Kinesiology Expert
My name is Edward, but most people call me Eddie. My path as a personal trainer and movement professional began with youth sports and continued through high school, where I developed a deep interest in athletic performance and how the body moves.
That interest led me to study Kinesiology — the scientific study of human movement and performance — in college, where I also worked as a student athletic trainer for the University of Maryland Football Team. This experience grounded my coaching in biomechanics, injury awareness, and evidence-based training principles.
After college, I transitioned into one-on-one personal training at a private studio gym in Washington, D.C., where I still occasionally make guest appearances. Working individually with clients quickly became my preferred way to apply movement science while building long-term coaching relationships.
During the pandemic, I — like many trainers — shifted to online personal training, coaching clients through live one-on-one video sessions. What began as a necessity evolved into a highly efficient, flexible, and effective training model that I continue to use today with clients around the world.
Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, with a focus on human movement, biomechanics, and performance.
I prioritize continuing education through workshops and ongoing study, and I regularly engage with research and literature from leading voices in health, movement, and longevity, including Dr. Perry Nickelston (Stop Chasing Pain), Dr. Peter Attia (Outlive: The Science and Art of Longevity), and Dr. Kelly Starrett (Becoming a Supple Leopard).
I am highly adept at learning about the specific conditions, limitations, and goals my clients present with, allowing me to design individualized training programs that address movement quality, strength, and long-term health.
