About Eddie
Online Personal Trainer & Kinesiology Expert
My name is Edward, but most people call me Eddie. I got into training through sports and went on to study Kinesiology, where I also worked with the University of Maryland football team.
After college, I trained clients one-on-one in Washington, D.C., which shaped how I coach today. During the pandemic, I moved online—what started as a necessity turned into a more efficient and flexible way to train, and it’s how I work with clients now.
Experience
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Maryland, with a focus on human movement, biomechanics, and performance.
I continue to study and refine my approach, and I design individualized programs based on each client’s goals, limitations, and movement patterns.
Education
Chess, physical movement, moderate sun bathing, coffee, technology, long term investing, house plants, cold showers, breathing exercises, barefoot shoes, coding, spanish, travel, photography, billiards, creative problems solving, working with tools, how things work, airplanes, atoms, biohacking, sauna, ice baths, artificial intelligence, audio books, podcasts, sprinting, dogs, massage, oceans, nature and love.
Interests
I currently live between Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and Medellín, Colombia, working with clients worldwide through online personal training.
Originally from the Washington, D.C. area, I’ve been traveling since 2020. I’m drawn to Latin America for its culture, climate, and coffee, and I enjoy building routines that support health, movement, and focused work while living abroad.
I’m actively learning Spanish and continue to improve every day, with Portuguese next on the list — an extension of my interest in movement, communication, and lifelong learning.
